After studying at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, where he completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Master in Economic and Social Law (Cum Laude), André-Alexis decided to pursue his studies in Singapore at Sorbonne-Assas International Law School (Cum Laude & Highest GPA Singapore campus).
He also participated in the Belgian Young Entrepreneur contest (Best Mini-Company of the year 2012 award) and has subsequently been a Young Entrepreneur adviser for several years.
André-Alexis now practices in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law, while completing the certificates in IP offered by the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).

That is the reason why, after the graduation in Singapore, I decided to be part of the Alumni Board. CHANG Laureline

Laureline is a LL.M. in International Business Law graduate from Sorbonne-Assas International Law School, at the Singapore Campus. She has had experience working in Legal & Compliance, as well as legal support related roles in companies of different industries (Wine and Spirits, Aviation, NGOs) across several countries (Singapore, France and Taiwan). From her experience working in Asia and Europe, she is also proficient in both spoken and written French, English and Chinese, as well as intermediate Spanish.
Laureline holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree with a specialisation in International Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, France. She also furthered her understanding of Anglo-American Business Law by matriculating at University College London Faculty of Laws, UK.

I am convinced that more extensive involvement of the Alumni in projects and management of the Law School will bring benefits to both sides and I believe the task of the Association is to create a platform for such synergy. »

FAWZI Zahra

Zahra is an LLM-graduate of Sorbonne-Assas International Law Singapore class of 2020. Besides her LLM program, Zahra gained experience working with an asset management company in Singapore.  Before joining the LLM program, Zahra worked as an associate at one of the most prestigious law firms in the Principality of Liechtenstein and advised international clients on inheritance and estate law, foundations law, contract, corporate and commercial law.
Zahra obtained her master’s in law and economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) Switzerland in 2016. After her LLM-graduation in 2020, Zahra joined a Big Four company as a senior consultant in the financial services advisory team in Zurich, Switzerland. She advises national and international clients mainly in matters of regulatory law, financial market law and compliance issues in the markets of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

SCHNEITER Christian

Christian is a Swiss attorney, admitted to the bar in Switzerland since 2016. Christian’s practice focuses on all aspects of banking and finance as well as restructuring and insolvency. He specialises in complex financing transactions and capital market transactions. He also advices Swiss and foreign banks, securities firms and other financial intermediaries on regulatory and contractual law issues. Further practice areas include corporate and commercial law matters. Currently, Christian is working as an associate at a leading Swiss law firm in Zurich.
Christian graduated from the University of Berne (Master of Laws) in 2012. In 2020, Christian completed his post-graduate studies (LL.M.) at Sorbonne-Assas International Law School in Singapore.

Mridula Chooromoney

Mridula is a Bon vivant. She is fanatic of dispute resolution, has a diploma in International Arbitration and she is an accredited civil-commercial mediator.
Mridula has an LLM in International Business Law from Sorbonne Assas International Law School.
She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in 2018.
She is an entrepreneur driven by passion and loves hosting events.
« There are multiple goals that I want to achieve while being part of the Board.
As a Campus manager for Mauritius, I will plan and ensure that friendly and quality events are organised across all campuses for the alumni and new students, I will also make sure to build and strengthen the sense of belonging of the alumni and finally I promise to spread good vibes only!
Besides, as a treasurer, I want to make sure that everything is functioning with clear checks and balances, but also to oversee and present budgets, accounts and financial statements to the management committee. »

SURURUDIN Sururudin

Sururudin earned his Bachelor degree majoring Law from the University of Indonesia in 2010. After that, he participated in Shanghai World Expo in 2010. In 2013, he was invited in the 2nd International Young Leaders Assembly in United Nation, New York, USA. Then took the LL.M specialized in International Business law at University Paris II – Pantheon Assas in 2018-2019. Following after, he finished the program of English Law and Legal Method at the University of Cambridge in 2019.
He joined the Ihza & Ihza Law Firm Jakarta in 2012, which founder is the former Secretary of State and Ministry of Justice, with a focus on administrative law, but he also has experience in civil law, criminal law, agrarian law, corporate law, natural resources, and mining law. He has a license to be a receiver in bankruptcy and a license in intellectual property matter.
« I joined this board because I wanted to connect with many new people, including students and alumni, but I also wanted to discuss with them about their ideas and discover new unique perspectives. I think that the Association can help other alumni to share their expertise with the alumni community. »

DIEDERICHSEN Georgia

Georgia Diederichsen is a Brazilian lawyer with solid experience in environmental and corporate law and is currently specializing in data privacy and technology law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2010), a postgraduate degree in Corporate Environmental Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) (2012), and recently completed her Master of Laws (cum laude) in International Business Law in Singapore, at Université Paris II – Panthéon-Assas (2019).
Georgia currently works as Legal Counsel and Data Privacy Officer at a technology company based in Singapore and is particularly interested in sustainable development initiatives and social projects.

AFTAB Umair

Umair and his father ran a chamber in Criminal Law from Sheikhupura in Pakistan before he decided to switch to International Business to further enhance the variety of the Chamber services.
Earned his Bachelor Degree (LLB) from the University of Punjab, Lahore before earning his LL.M. degree from Sorbonne-Assas in Singapore in 2020.
Umair is also a fanatic of sports such as cricket, soccer and tennis.
« I am motivated to join the board for the following reasons: shared experiences and expertise – especially to potential students from Pakistan, raising the profile of the University, build and strengthen the relationship within the community, giving back and staying connected to the alma mater to shape future generations of alumni to have the same opportunities and positive experiences as I did. »
